Roy II Captain’s Blog 2022
Firstly, I hope you and your families are all safe and well, had the best possible Christmas.
I would like to wish you all a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year! Let hope its a year full of golfing fun and laughter, I think we all need it!!!
It’s that time of year where getting out on the golf course is a little more challenging, with short days and unpredictable weather conditions restricting play time. However, there is still plenty of opportunity to enjoy the facilities, the bar is open and it would be great to see you there to catch up, the driving range is fully operational and I’m sure Gareth and his team would be more than happy to give you some winter training and advice. Don’t forget you can book the private practice bay and test yourself against some of golfs newest technology.
It won’t be long until we reach early spring and the course will be in full bloom and splendor. As we await spring to arrive the, President, Committee, Secretary, Vice Captain and I are busy planning the golfing year ahead, with fixtures for all sections being booked and lots of ideas being discussed to enhance and grow our wonderful Golf Club.
If you have any suggestions or would like to get further involved then please don’t be shy, just like you we want to maximise our enjoyment at Bishopswood, so please do let us know, the more help the better.
So I will leave it there for today’s blog,i’ll be back with the next one soon, so finally from me, take care, stay safe and see you soon.
